Evolution Percussion Duo, consisting of Maria Finkelmeier (Ohio) and Jake Remington (Texas) was initiated at the start of 2011 to commission and compose new repertoire and highlight a new generation's voice in the percussive arts. Jake and Maria plan to continue their commitment to this mission well into the future by creating new and innovation experiences for composers, performers, students and audience members alike.

Our Kickstarter project has been successfully funded! Thanks for all of the support! We can't wait to get the new works from Casey Cangelosi, Dave Hall, Baljinder Sekhon and David Skidmore in August. The premiere of the program will take place in Piteå on October 13! We are currently arranging a live broadcast of the premiere, a tour to follow, and studio time to record the album.
